Rules of retreats
RULES OF CONDUCT DURING THE RETREAT
Please study carefully to avoid misunderstandings!
We hold retreats with hereditary shamans deep in the jungle on Kichwa tribal lands. These people honor their ancient traditions, so you must follow several simple and logical rules.

- Do not smoke tobacco products or even electronic cigarettes.
- Do not consume any alcoholic beverages.
- Show respect for the tribe’s totems.
- Do not desecrate Kichwa sacred objects.
- Do not steal (members of this tribe punish such crimes by burning at the stake).
- Do not flirt with members of the tribe.
- Do not enter the jungle without a guide, as it may be deadly dangerous.
- Do not pick fruit on tribal lands without permission from its representatives.
- Do not pick or eat wild fruits or leaves during jungle treks without the guide’s approval, as they may be poisonous.
- Do not approach the ceremony site unless you are a participant.
- Do not join the next ceremony without completing full integration after the previous one.
Violators of these rules will be immediately dismissed and taken directly to the airport.
